Magic in the Homeschool Pros-and-Cons Portal
Untitled Document
We are now standing in the Homeschool Pros-and-Cons Portal of Homeschool Castle. This portal forms the gateway to one of the ancient and most misunderstood sections of the castle. Please notice: behind this rather formidable looking door of Homeschool Pros-and-Cons Portal are two passages. Each passage leads to a cluster of interconnected rooms. The one group of rooms are known as the homeschool advantage-rooms. The other: the homeschool disadvantage-rooms. But let me tell you something that most visitors will never realize: These rooms are not ordinary rooms. They are magic rooms! They are magic rooms because the mirrors and lanterns on the walls are magic mirrors! and magic lanterns - The magic mirrors have the effect of making the rooms seem much more than they really are. Most visitors do not know this and that is why you will find hundreds of reports in the media and on the internet, each one apparently describing a different advantage or disadvantage.
Unwittingly, they are all actually describing the same rooms but from the perspective of one or more of the magic mirrors. - The magic lanterns, on the other hand, have a way of responding to your own personal belief system. If you are a homeschooler, you will find that the magic lanterns make the 'advantage'-rooms appear bright and sunny and the disadvantage'-rooms dark and gloomy. However, if you are a public schooler the appearance of the same rooms will be exactly the opposite.
This is all very confusing indeed! Fortunately, you are privileged, because I, Grandpapa, spent many weeks and months in the Homeschool Pros-and-Cons rooms and have discovered, most, if not all, of the magic mirrors and lanterns. A final reminder: Remember to look for the secret, or not so secret, codes. If you think you have it, enter it into the form on your computer and hit the submit button. You may just be eligible for a special surprise! Now, dear parents and students. Here is some more magic: Behind the panel in this wall are a series of levers with strange labels on them. If you pull any of the levers, the lights in the Homeschool Pros-and-Cons Portal will dim and you will hop, skip and jump into one of the magic rooms. Don't worry, in whatever room you land, I will be there to guide and serve you. Remember my motto: Your needs are my demands. Your success is my success. Here are the levers and their strange labels:
